How it works
The card shows up to 6 stats on the story layout and 4 on the square one, in this order, skipping any your file does not have: books read, pages read, your average rating, your most-read author (when you read more than one of their books), the longest book, the busiest month, five-star reads, days per book (The StoryGraph), re-reads and books a month. The numbers are the same as on the stats page for that year.
The image is drawn in your browser on a canvas and saved as a PNG; nothing is uploaded and there is no account. The small mark at the bottom is the site name, so friends can find the tool.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the reading wrapped card free?
- Yes, with no watermark beyond the small site name and no limit on years or downloads.
- Why are some stats missing from my card?
- The card only prints what is in your export. The StoryGraph file has no page counts, so pages and the longest book are left out; a year with no ratings has no average rating. A book marked read without a date read is in no year.
- Can I make a card before the year is over?
- Yes. The current year counts the books you have finished so far, and you can make a card for any past year in your file or for all years together.
- How do I post it on my phone?
- Download the PNG, open it from your downloads or files, and share it to your story or feed from there. The story layout is 1080 × 1920, the square one 1080 × 1080.
